The girls love it!
My big girls love this food. They eat it better than any other food we have tried. I like it’s simplicity of ingredients. Most foods have a very long list of various chemicals, but Wild Spirit lamb and brown rice is most all lamb and brown rice
Well, even the finicky cats jump down from their perches to steal some of this!
And the cats have super premium cat-food, free choice. As well as premium soft food on request. And the two Aussie girl-pups, for whom it was intended, like it well enough to defend it. They have always had full bowls of free choice premium dog food, available to them throughout the day. But haven't really cared about the food except to come by for an indifferent nibble when they decide they might be hungry again, after their morning soft dog-food breakfast. I just bought this on sale, and didn't know much about it. For instance who makes it and what their policies are. And face it, everyone calls their dog or cat food "Wild" nowadays, and puts a wolf or bobcat on the cover. But the puppies and kitties do seem to be impressed with this one. And it's the first time the cats have wanted to steal dog-food. And but of course, the dogs always want to steal cat-food if they can.
Like the limited ingredients
Dogs seemed to adjust well to this food. I like the limited ingredients so a win.
Discouraged
The product is good however, my last shipment the cost of each bag was 35.99 and this shipment is 54.99 per bag. No warning no anything. Guess this is how they make money. People who don't check what there being charged will get the shaft. I will be looking local if this isn't rectified
Bad Business
I was enjoying this food and my dogs were happy and in good condition. Then with no warning at all the price jumps from $75 for 2 bags to $118 for the same to bags. I was on autoship and it came out of my account as usual with no warning whatsoever. I am very disappointed with this level of customer serve and also with the price difference. Its good food but not at those costs. Picture included to see price change and how dramatic.
Good food, price seemed like a bait and switch
Charley has a sensitive stomach, and I was looking for a more affordable option. He liked this food but in the time between orders, the price almost doubled which meant it was not just as expensive as the others :(
Huge Price Increase!
I've been buying this for almost 3 years. I was shocked to see that the price went up by $23.00 per bag!! How do you justify such a huge increase?
Dogs don’t finish their meals...
I’m sure the nutrition is fine, but my dogs aren’t a fan - I’m not sure if it’s because of the taste or the small size of the kibble. One of my dogs is normally a finicky eater, but the other one usually eats anything and he even leaves some in his bowl. Might be better for smaller breeds for the smaller kibble.

German Pointer
My dog after 2 yrs started having strange spells of large amount of foam built up and having hard time vomiting. Was trying to eat everything even the carpet to get relief. Sometimes vomiting yellow bile foam in morning. Finally got so bad carried her to doctor. She had skin allergy too by then with a fever. Finally found this without sweet potatoes and salmon. She is doing alot better. Have tried other expensive brand but did not work. Simple Six been a life savor for Lucy.
