Easy and Effective Pet Stairs
By hapiday on Jul 29, 2020
My 12 year old boston terrier (weighs 20 lbs) was using a ramp that went all the way up the guest side of my bed. It was just too big, but I was afraid to switch b/c nothing seemed high or sturdy enough. then I bought this Trixie Adustable 4-step item and she loves it. It's carpeted, sturdy and required NO ASSEMBLY. Right out of the box she started using it with treats as bait. She goes up and down easily over the end of my bed.

It works...with patience and treats!
By MaxMom on Jun 13, 2020
I have a short-legged (but not very lightweight) dog and a very tall bed. He has to be lifted into bed, but he's willing to jump down on his own; the former isn't good for my back, while the latter isn't good for his hips. These steps are sturdy, but they are also steep at the highest setting. It's taken me a few weeks, lots of verbal encouragement and praise, and his favorite treat on the bed, to get him to go up these steps. Some times he just goes up without thinking about it, while other times he seems more reluctant about it. However, after about a week he figured out that going down the steps was preferable to jumping down. In summary, I'm glad I bought these and would recommend them I have a short-legged (but not very lightweight) dog and a very tall bed. Sturdy Steps
By BryleyGirl on May 18, 2020
My dog is a medium size dog and 40 lbs. She got easily accustomed to these steps after a few training sessions. It made it easier for her since they are sturdy and don’t move around. Because this is black it is hard to see if going to bed in the dark so I put a night light to make it easier for my dog.

Great stair where height is a necessity
By Punkins on Apr 14, 2020
Great stair. We are using it in a new motorhome where the bed is 30 inches above the floor. I noticed a previous review where someone's dog would not use the stair. One of our dogs does not like anything black so I applied light colored strips at each edge of the stair so that she could differentiate where each step was located. Works just fine. We can collapse the stair and store it while travelling so that it does not get in the way with interior traffic. Seems well constructed. Great service as usual from Chewy. Thanks

Great steps
By Cingriff on May 2, 2020
I ordered theses for getting older Yorkies that were having some issues with the 2 step we had for years getting in bed. My boys is doing great with the new step. My girl won't use them yet. I work with her almost every day trying to get her up them. Hopefully she will catch in soon
