This cat tree is shipped as three separate boxes that you have to assemble as one, and it is not recommended to use this product in a way that is not compliant with the instructions.

Can the cubes be arranged to face different directions than the way they are pictured,?

The cubes are intended to be bolted together so you're able to arrange them before tightening.

Can more "modules" be ordered and added, or is 3 the limit? Also, where is this manufactured?

Additional modules are not available. This cat tree is only designed to hold 3 modules. Trixie cat trees are made in China.

Disappointed

It’s less than a week of use and already it’s coming apart. Of course cats are going to claw and chew at it. There shouldn’t be and way they can cut their mouths

It’s less than a week of use and already it’s coming apart. Of course cats are going to claw and chew at it. There shouldn’t be and way they can cut their mouths from the staples! The staples were sticking out and are flimsy regular staples. IT IS NOT MADE OF WOOD EITHER - as posted by others. It is press board and 2 stars for the concept, but I bought 2 of these hoping they would last. You can see even the scratching material will unravel. For $115 dollars x 2 so $230 down the drain. For this price it should be real wood and made with heavy duty staples and duck/sail cloth! It could be made so much better and with a cats safety in mind. This is in noway reflective of Chewy as they are great. I love Chewy and am thankful they exist.

Well built cat tree

It is very heavy and obviously made from wood and not carboard. It took minutes to put together and you can turn the boxes which ever way you want. The top one is

It is very heavy and obviously made from wood and not carboard. It took minutes to put together and you can turn the boxes which ever way you want. The top one is secured with extra strength velcro so sometimes we take it off and put it in another room. Both kittens have enjoyed climbing it and the older one has used the sides for clawing. One of them peed in the bottom one and I took the padding out and washed it no problem. Very happy with this tree.

My kitty spent a lot of times outdoors but now since she’s older she loves to sit in the window and watch out. I bought this so she wouldn’t have to balance on the windowsill anymore and its perfect height for my bedroom window. She loves the middle box even thought it took her two weeks to get used to it from the bottom box. I took the third box off from the top and just use it as a bed under a table and she fits in there like a tight squeeze. Best purchase i’ve ever made for my 15 year old.

This is no press board cheap thang. This is full on wood and fluff. The first day I put it together and both my kitters were inside a box, which is very unusual

If you like a cat tower that is more aesthetically pleasing then the typical ones then you will enjoy this. The color is neutral so it really would go with almost any decor.

Molly likes her boxes. She sits in them in front of the window watching all the birds. It was very easy to assemble as it's just one bolt in each box to hold together

Simple and Classy

It came with two bolts, two washers, an Allen wrench and picture instructions, plus a flyer with website information in case you didn’t get instructions. It’s basically

It came with two bolts, two washers, an Allen wrench and picture instructions, plus a flyer with website information in case you didn’t get instructions. It’s basically three boxes on top of each other held together by a Velcro lid and a screw in the middle. Be careful to line up the screw to the other bottom boxes hole. I pushed the screw all the way through the upper box so it would be easier to twist it in with the wrench. My cats love it and it looks like actual furniture, not carpeted wood or flimsy posts that tip and break. I staggered the boxes diagonally so the cats have a view, but it can be boxes fit square on top if that’s your style. Oh, and the middle cubby has two windows/sides for convenience.
