I’m so disappointed in my TRIXIE rabbit hutch. I’ve only had it since 2022, and the bottom litter tray has broken through twice. Last year they sent me a new tray, but it has broken through again, and they refuse to send another. It is really upsetting to have to purchase an entirely new hutch when just one piece keeps breaking from poor quality. The bottom of the cage should certainly be able to withstand the weight of a rabbit!

I Did Read Reviews Before I Bought And Thought The Good Out Weighed The Bad.. So I Decided To Give A Try And Just Got one Not Made Very Well The Screw spots did not line up.and we had to put nails under bottom as it kept falling out because cuts of cage wrong...If This One Was Made Better It Would Be Perfect
Don’t waste your money like I just did
Not an easy assembly like it claims, the instructions aren’t very clear and come in German. They don’t send the proper tools to assemble it.

came damaged, but otherwise functional
there were 5 pretty mild damaged spots, fixed with some wood putty and wood glue, all but a small part the original company (trixie pet) will most likely replace

First of all, I LOVE Chewy and this product is NOT a reflection of their amazing service and usually the products they sell. Unfortunately, this thing is the worst. The first one they sent arrived beaten up and torn apart. You could see that it was broken without having to open the box. In typical Chewy fashion, they told me the box was damaged before it ever arrived and had already sent a new one. LOVE CHEWY! The second hutch arrived 2 days later. The box was in decent shape but when we started taking everything out of the box, several pieces were already broken or warped. But I really wanted this hutch to work because my guinea pigs were growing out of their current cage. My husband is a handy guy so he was able to put it together but had to break out his table saw and drill to put it together. The drawers are not square, it's wobbly and just generally very cheaply made. Since the drawers do not fit squarely into their slots, there is a gap between the back of the hutch and the drawer and the piggies get poop and pee all over the floor. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to buy another cage for them as this one is seriously junk. I encourage Chewy to take another look at this manufacturer.
Cute, but wobbly

Not all the pieces fit together properly- some were an inch or so off and I sawed them down to size so they fit. The bottom tray doesn't fit all the way in and thst cannot be cut down because of the plastic liner. The unit is pretty wobbly so I'm going to reinforce with some brackets. The latches could certainly be opened by a racoon so I will add extra locks. I also plan to remove the bottom tray and staple rabbit wire with a piece of plywood in the corner, for ventilation and so their extra poop falls out onto the ground. Finally, I set it on a pallet to keep it off the ground, to prevent moisture from ruining the legs. Overall, not the best, but it will do.
