    Nice cat house

    By ranger12 on Feb 2, 2021

Downside first, very strong odor when I opened the box but separated all the pieces and let them air outside for a couple days. Predrilled holes for top screw ran into a screw already in place. To fix I just drilled a new hole about 1 inch off. The ridge for the roof does not seal the notches cut for it. The floor was not stapled square but I was able to shave the edges and it fits like it should. Overall the instructions were good and with the exceptions I mentioned it was easy to put together. In another persons review they mentioned mouse droppings but what I found were grains from the roof asphalt.

    Trixie Insulated Cat House

By KittyHouse on Dec 12, 2020

It’s a decent house that I have put under my carport against a brick wall for two feral cats that have been with me over a year. Assembly is easy - I’m female, 5’1” and weigh 110 - if I can do it anyone can - took twenty minutes for first house - 10 minutes second. Note that the floor insert is NOT insulated. Otherwise I would have given it five stars. I bought foil-bubble insulation for extra warmth along with hay blankets. Also note that any bedding placed inside interfers with the plastic swivel opening on right side so plan accordingly - I also plan to drill a hole in order to thread the cord of a heated mat. All in all it’s a good cute house for the price - I chose it because I couldn It’s a decent house that I have put under my carport against a brick wall for two feral cats that have been with me over a year. Hope this helps !! … more

    Works for my feral Tomcats

By Catwolf on Jan 3, 2021

I bought this house too close to the cold and rainy season. I thought it would sit a season before either of the two feral Tomcats I care for would try it. They actually took to it pretty easily. Within a couple of weeks, the more timid of the two would hang out it on cold days. A couple of weeks after that and he sleeps there regularly. I thought both cats might use it together. They are brothers and on cold nights they will sleep together in a chair. I saw them both in the house once, but not regularly. They prefer the door that stays open to either of the swinging doors so I just leave that door open. You can only put a thin mat in the house or the doors will not swing open. The quality of materials is decent, but I cannot imagine it lasting through too many wet cold winters. For the price it is a great deal and it looks great on our deck. … more

    Ordered arrived with mouse droppings

By Bowie on Dec 11, 2020

I got my order but the box was a little banged up and little weathered looking. I proceeded to open the box and the packing tape had mouse droppings stuck onto it. I open the box and saw more droppings. After that I just closed it back up and called Chewy Customer service. FedEX was suppose to take it back but its still sitting outside my front door. This is day 2 and there's no return label either.

    Rusted hardware

By Mlawrence on Feb 7, 2021

The hardware is rusted after just weeks of use outside. This product is made somewhat cheap.

Looks like a little "Cat Cottage"

By HappyKitty on Sep 24, 2020

Great cat habitat! Our cat is in it now and she loves sleeping under it, in it, and on top of the house. She loves the straw that we put in there too. We took off the plastic entry doors and frames. In addition, we replaced them with terrycloth coverings. It is easier for our cat to enter and not so scary for her. However, now we have to buy another one for the outside cats. We strongly recommend Natura Insulated Cat House with Ramp.

    Well made cat house

By Lindy on Jul 13, 2020

Nicely made insulated cat house! Fairly simple to put together. Not all seams match tightly but once assembled and placed outside it remained dry inside even after the rain. Even though it is a bigger cat house if you have a cat 13 pounds or more it maybe harder for him to fit through the openings. This house is better suited for a small to medium sized cat. Cute house! So far the feral has not gone inside of it yet but trying to tempt him in with food and cat nip. Need to be patient cause it could take a month or two. Would need to add hay and a warming bed for the winter and he should be comfortable! I would recommend this house.
