If you let the cat inside and close the door with them in, can they breathe properly?

This ramp is meant to be left open at all times when this product is in use by your cat. It's made to close only to keep intruders out while it is not in use.

if I leave my cats out and go out for a few hours and I have the door open so they can go there if it rains. What happens if it rains? Won't it get wet inside? Can you clean it?

This outdoor shelter is made from weather-treated, non-toxic pine and a roof, covered in composite asphalt shingles. It also features a strip curtain that protects the inside room and keeps it warm. It would be great for your feline friend to shelter them from wind, rain and snow. The cat patio may be cleaned by using mild soap and water.

How high does the house sit off the ground?

This sits about 2 inches above the ground.

My 11 lbs cat uses a large plastic cat litter box which we keep on our small patio. Can this be used to "hide" a cat litter box in? It becomes such a problem when we have unexpected rain and I forgot to bring her in litter box

It may be possible to fit a small litter box inside, the interior measures approximately 13 x 15 inches.

This little house is really cute and easy to assemble; however, the overall construction of the house was really cheap and there is no insulation so you have to line it with a few layers of cardboard or some other liner. I do like the fact that the roof lifts up which makes for easy cleaning and changing out blankets but I wouldn't really put it out directly in the weather, I keep mine on the patio under the cover of the roof, it doesn't seem to be that waterproof.

Bought this to put on my porch during winter months for my outdoor cat. Item is very nice. Sturdy wood. Great size for cat. Easy to assemble. But there is a big gap in the floor as shown in pictures. Very disappointed about that. Creates a big spot for cold air to enter. If it wasn’t for the big gap I would have given it 5 stars.

Great Cat House

I purchased this for my newly found outdoor cat. He isn't in it a lot since it's been so hot here for the last few weeks but he did go into it when it was raining

I purchased this for my newly found outdoor cat. He isn't in it a lot since it's been so hot here for the last few weeks but he did go into it when it was raining. It's a great bargain for the price and easy to put together, only took me about 15 minutes with minimal tools necessary. It's well built and I love that the top fully opens and it's elevated off the ground a bit. It's sitting out along the woods in an unsheltered location for now but I will move it alongside the house when Kitty finally moves in with the family. I may spray it with clear Rustoleum or some protective paint before winter. Highly recommend.

Easy assemble instructions. Really like the fact I can open top to clean area. We got rain for about a week, stayed dry inside. The feral cat has checked it out, although she has not gone inside yet. I did cut add a cardboard for added insulation to the bottom of the shelter. A good layer of straw to provide warmth, hopefully she will approve.

I never would have ordered blue to some people color does matter and was sad it didn’t match description listed. Otherwise it’s perfect for the job, I care more about the color than the cat!

Safe from the weather

One of my cats likes to go outside at night and we needed something for bad weather while we are sleeping. This is working perfectly. We put it next to the back

One of my cats likes to go outside at night and we needed something for bad weather while we are sleeping. This is working perfectly. We put it next to the back door and he’s already using it. I took off one star because he hates the plastic flaps and I had to cut them off. Also, the lid will lift on a strong wind so we need to add a latch hook. For the price point it’s a good buy.
