It’s ok for what it is
Good for trying to store food for up to 4 hours I’d say. Not the 48 hour mark like it allows. One little ice pack can’t hold for that long. The timer also ticks

The timer also ticks all the time and I think my cat can hear it. He wants to mess with it all the time. If you have a smart and/or determined cat- don’t get it. He figured out how to get it open by pawing at the dial

Simple but flawed
This dispenser works well for it's main purpose -- for us that's dispensing meds mid-day when we're at work. The timer works well and is quiet, and the ice pack
This dispenser works well for it's main purpose -- for us that's dispensing meds mid-day when we're at work. The timer works well and is quiet, and the ice pack under the bowl keeps things cool. The main flaw is that when you're not using it, it wants to stay wide open. The lid does not have a way to stay shut until you're using the timer, and that is a tad annoying for storage.
Wish bowl was stainless

The reviews made me nervous to get it. It's definitely not fancy, but it does its job. I got it for my cat and so far so good. I've just been changing the battery
The reviews made me nervous to get it. It's definitely not fancy, but it does its job. I got it for my cat and so far so good. I've just been changing the battery out often since the reviews say the battery dies out fast. Also, I don't hear the ticking sound unless it is pressed directly to my ear.

Durability. Gives the cat something to do
I originally purchased this so Mr Kitty would stop poking my boyfriend in the nose at 3am wanting food. Now Mr Kitty spends his nights beating on the feeder/flipping
I originally purchased this so Mr Kitty would stop poking my boyfriend in the nose at 3am wanting food. Now Mr Kitty spends his nights beating on the feeder/flipping it over and over while scooting it across the floor, and occasionally coming in to let us know it hasn't opened yet, OR it has opened, but it's upside down so the lid is still shut. Despite all of his goals of not letting us sleep, it actually has slightly helped with his begging for food. Battery life seems fine. Battery compartment lid is still somehow intact and the battery still fits tight.
Being able to feed him when I am not here.
It took a few days for him to realize that there was food in it. He seems to be getting use to it now.

I bought this for my previous cat, and it worked really well for several months. Then it stopped working. The light comes on, but no water comes out of the faucet

The ticking noise is incredibly loud and distracting. Makes my dog nervous. Item arrived disassembled. Silver bar that attached lid missing, but found it and assembled
