Horrible Material
I got this partly for the otter box to look nicer in the living area and another because my cat tends to pee outside the box. This absolutely does not do well with

Wherever my car has peed, or areas I have cleaned up even with his water, has started to peel up. Unfortunately I feel like this was a waste of my money

I’ve been on the hunt for a long while to find a litter box enclosure that would fit a large box. I’ve got 4 cats and two are quite big boys. I tried a different
I’ve been on the hunt for a long while to find a litter box enclosure that would fit a large box. I’ve got 4 cats and two are quite big boys. I tried a different enclosure that could only fit a medium sized box and they were constantly peeing outside the box, but inside the enclosure, because there just wasn’t enough room for them. This enclosure fits a large or XL cat box just fine. However, one word of caution, if the front lip of your litter box is high and you have big boys like me then they might have trouble maneuvering into and out of the entrance. I had to try a few boxes before finding one that worked for my cats. Also, one review mentioned that this will fit the Van ness XL litter box. That is technically true, but the front lip is way too tall and it leaves almost no room for kitty to get in and out. Other comments, very sturdy and seems well made. My bf put it together for me and I wasn’t home so I cant speak to ease of assembly. He said it was a pain, but he also doesn’t read directions so it might have been operator error lol. Ultimately Im very happy with the purchase.

Great Litter Box Cover and Storage
Has plenty of room for my cats to walk around in with both a low and high step litter box. Keeps smells contained when the cats decide not to bury their poop. Convenient

First, the reason for the star subtraction: the smell. Over the years I’ve heard tales of products arriving with horrendous chemical smell, and over the years, I’ve dismissed such claims as melodramatic or hyper critical. I had never come across an item (from any site) that had a smell that didn’t quickly dissipate upon airing out. This item has changed my perspective The chemical odor seeped strongly through the box. Upon peeling away the cardboard packaging, it was clear the odor was on a level previously not experienced. Still, it was such a lovely enclosure that I pressed on. Assembly was very straight forward. I had it completed within one hour. It is large for my large kitties and holds my Frisco XL high-sided litter box. I love the clean lines and sturdiness. But the smell! Soon, the entire room reeked of this chemical smell. It was overwhelming. To prevent my rescue kitty from getting sick, I moved him to a different room, then opened all the windows, wiped down all the cabinet surfaces with enzymatic cleaner, and turned a fan on. A week later, the smell had dissipated just enough to be bearable. For that week I didn’t close the doors, lest my kitty not want to go inside. I started closing the doors last night. When I came in this morning to clean the litter box, upon opening the doors, the smell could knock a person over. Still, the enclosure is solid, sleek, and modern. I wish the back panel and doors were a bit more solid, but it doesn’t detract from the sturdiness. Despite the smell, I’m giving this four stars bc after the smell eventually dissipates, it will be a perfect solution to unsightly litter boxes. I got mine on sale for about $150. For me, that’s money well spent. Had I paid more, i wouldn’t be as forgiving about the smell issue. So, in summary, if you’re willing to deal with a strong chemical smell for the first few weeks then this is a stellar purchase. You’ll need to wipe it down completely a few times with a strong cleaner and air out the room. If you’re willing to deal with that, you’ll be rewarded with a reasonably priced, large, sturdy, litter box enclosure that discreetly blends into your home.

There were very minor imperfections and I’m glad I didn’t listen to the negative review because this is fantastic. I love the hidden drawer space for scooper, bags, random things like that. Unfortunately, it’s bigger than I thought it would be. I checked the specs and measured the area I wanted it to be in but it’s way too big. I’ll have to take it apart and send it back but it’s not cheaply made. Think of IKEA, this is similar. I used a drill and I feel that’s why mine came out perfectly. They don’t advise it but as long as you don’t overtighten, you’ll be fine

It is OK It is cheaply made but functional. Not alot of light gets into it so I have to leave a door open so the cats can see in it. Stops litter on my floor
