Latch is defective.
This is a decent looking product, but the latch mechanism is a spring loaded pin that doesn’t stay assembled. Customer service was great and sent a replacement,
This is a decent looking product, but the latch mechanism is a spring loaded pin that doesn’t stay assembled. Customer service was great and sent a replacement, but the second one also separates and doesn’t stay together. So the gate is pretty much useless unless you want to keep putting the latch assembly back together all the time.
It's just what a wanted but........
The dog gate looked like I expected it to but it had a very stong smell that lasted for @10 days. This was disappointing.

Flimsy
This gate did not do its job. My 15-pound puppy figured out how to manipulate and push it so he could squeeze through. The gate latch busted within hours of my setting
This gate did not do its job. My 15-pound puppy figured out how to manipulate and push it so he could squeeze through. The gate latch busted within hours of my setting it up. I'm using it, but it's leaning against a wall and held in place by a heavy toolbox. Big hassle to get through.

A clever dog can open this gate
Our dog quickly figured out that if he pushes on the gate, the latch will give way and he can access the room of forbidden wonders. Back to the drawing board.

I purchased this for an 88 year old lady that lives in an apartment and her two small dogs kept running outside the front door. What a visual, her scooting down

This is perfect! Well made and easy for her to get thru the gate out her front door, without her pups!

This is great for blocking large openings. We use it to block a large stairwell, so our old dog doesn’t make bad decisions.

Good appearance & seems well made. Not useful w/o a second latch.
My mini-schnauzer thinks the gate is great, because he can push it open. It needs a 2nd latch near the bottom of the gate.
