Feeding Instructions
GASTROFOS should be added to the normal feed ration. All horses: Feed 3.52 oz (approx. 100g) per day divided between the number of feeds. Horses fed twice daily add 1.76 oz (approx. 50g) per feed. Horses fed three times daily add 1.18 oz (approx. 33g) per feed. Ponies and Foals: Feed 1.76 oz (approx. 50g) per day divided between the number of feeds. Ponies and foals fed twice daily add 0.88 oz (approx. 25g) per feed. Ponies and foals fed three times daily add 0.59 ox (approx. 17g) per feed.

Palatable + essential amino acids
I love that this gives my horses some extra essential amino acids, especially L-Threonine and magnesium. I have also been feeding this to my PPID/Cushings horse
I love that this gives my horses some extra essential amino acids, especially L-Threonine and magnesium. I have also been feeding this to my PPID/Cushings horse for the past few weeks and it has been great. I mix it with their pelleted feed and they eat it just fine, so it must be palatable enough. As an equine scientist and nutritionist, I give this supplement a thumbs up!

I have 2 horses, but they are currently in a field with 2 others, so everyone has tried the Gastrofos. 3/4 like it, 1 has always been very picky and she didn't like
I have 2 horses, but they are currently in a field with 2 others, so everyone has tried the Gastrofos. 3/4 like it, 1 has always been very picky and she didn't like it and will not eat it at all. The other 3 horses do seem to like it, our horse is a senior horse over 30. She struggles eating in the Florida heat, so this feed seems to be an ok supplement to keep nutrients in her body. So far there have been no ill effects, it's been about 1 week.

The smell is a sweet with earthy tones. My horses had no problem eating them when added to their food. The pellets are a nice size and the bucket is easy to open

Good for my older horse
Had to wait to write a review for this one because I wanted to see how my horse did with it. Did not always want to eat it, but I figured out a way to mix it in
