My dog Penny is just not very impressed with this toothbrush ball. It came in packaging that initially looked daunting to open, but once I tore the paperboard a bit the plastic part opened easily, so that was good. The ball comes with a tube of the tooth paste, and it's easy to follow the directions and put the tip of the tube into the center spot and squeeze and see the paste go into the surrounding voids. I think it would be a little better if the paste weren't so close to clear- perhaps the company could tint it with a natural dye. I showed Penny the ball and she was I think interested in the paste, but I couldn't get her to chew at it at all. We tried a few different times with different approaches, but I think she's just not into chomping spheres. I strongly suspect that this product would be great for Labs and other ball loving dogs. I'm not sure how easy it would be to clean out the spots where the paste goes, I haven't tried that yet. Overall, I think it's a good idea, just not one Penny is in to.

Both of my dogs love this ball. Whether or not it’s actually cleaning their teeth remains to be seen. More time has been spent playing with it rather than chewing on it. It’s very bouncy and VERY squeaky! They love it but if you’re not a fan of very squeaky toys this may not be for you. I did like that it was easy to squeeze the gel and surprisingly easy to clean. My dogs seem to like the taste or at least they have no aversion to it. Regardless it’s a very fun toy for them and that makes them and me happy.

A fun concept with good taste!

I’ve had the ball for a few days now and the dogs think it’s a lot of fun. I was surprised to find out it squeaks, but that definitely keeps my dogs entertained

I’ve had the ball for a few days now and the dogs think it’s a lot of fun. I was surprised to find out it squeaks, but that definitely keeps my dogs entertained. It was easy to insert the toothpaste into the little reservoirs. There are two places to put the toothpaste. By time my dogs were done playing with it, it was empty. I think this could be a great piece of your dog’s oral routine, but I would not solely rely on this toy alone to keep your dog’s teeth clean. I do still think you would need to brush your dog’s teeth or provide a good chew to remove plaque. The squeaking and softer rubbery feel of the ball keeps the dogs biting on it to remove the toothpaste.

So far so good. I'm a little worried about the durability of this product because i have a super chewer but we've been using it for over two weeks and it is still intact. Not sure if it will last forever but he's enjoying it now. Kobe likes the gel that gets inserted into the ball. He is only 3 so not much on his teeth yet but being proactive is the goal. It works like it says. Not sure if it stops plaque or reduces it because he doesn't really have any yet. But would recommend people to try it because its so much easier than brushing. He has no idea its good for his teeth he thinks its play time with a ball.
