Is there any bad side effects if this gel?

The TropiClean Oral care gel was tested in development with a toxicologist who stated that this product is not expected to cause any toxicological effects when used as directed. There has also been no reported side effects of this gel. However, there is always the possibility of an allergy or sensitivity to an ingredient in a product. There can also be an adjustment time when a new oral care product is introduced. During this adjustment time, temporary gastro-intestinal symptoms are possible such as diarrhea or upset stomach. This is also possible with a sensitivity/allergy. These are uncommon but possible.

Can I use this on a adult dog?

This product is for puppies 16 weeks of age and older, preparing them for a lifetime of periodontal wellness. TropiClean does offer a Fresh Breath Clean Teeth Gel for Adults.

Reduced her bad breath in two days!!!

My chihuahua (3lbs) had terrible breath but hated when we brushed her teeth. To avoid giving her unnecessary anxiety, this is by far a more accessible application

My chihuahua (3lbs) had terrible breath but hated when we brushed her teeth. To avoid giving her unnecessary anxiety, this is by far a more accessible application as I’m done in 10 seconds. Although she still doesn’t like it, she seems to prefer it to brush, so I 10/10 recommend it for those who have dogs who hate brushing. Her breath is not smelly anymore, and I couldn’t be any happier.

We tried using this on our puppy when she was 2 months old and she HATED it! We only got it in her the first time, after which she learned that she did not like

We tried using this on our puppy when she was 2 months old and she HATED it! We only got it in her the first time, after which she learned that she did not like it at all. It got to a point where she knew what was coming as soon as we grabbed the bottle and would hide her face and refuse to open her mouth (and she is a biter!). So while I was hoping this would work, there must be something about the taste that not all puppies will like. Hoping to find another flavor that she will like better.

I've used this gel nightly for my 3 German Shepherds (ages 10, 10 and 3) and my Chihuahua (age 6). My dogs aren't fond of getting the gel droplets placed on their gums but I administer it anyway and their teeth are as beautiful as they were when they were yearlings. I'm shocked that people leave lousy reviews due to their dogs not wanting to have it administered. That's like blaming a toothpaste company for your kids not wanting to brush their teeth or giving a prescribed antibiotic a bad review because your child gave you a rough time about taking it. Those reviews should NOT be allowed to stand. Thanks to this gel my dogs have never had to be put to sleep to have their teeth cleaned. THANK YOU, Tropiclean! You are an oral lifesaver for my precious canine babies!
