3 out of 3 dogs decided this is not the way to clean teeth! Lady (Chihuahua/corgi) gave it a smell and lost interest immediately. She did not find it helpful to have either brush near her mouth. Rees (border/heeler) was a little more patient and at least let me finger brush his canines, once. Then he made it very clear the answer is no! Sixo (border collie) is my most patient pup. He will pretty much allow you to try anything once. He is also the one that needs his teeth cleaned the most. He’s learning how to work on the weekly bone they all get and that is helping some. We believe the previous owner just didn’t understand good dog oral care goes a long way. He allowed a bit more brush but round two was a flat no and please give me a bone instead!

I've noticed an improvement in my dogs' breath since I started using this gel. It truly does smell great! The application is easy enough. Initially, my puppies were a little unsure of the gel and the process. They weren't thrilled about something new being put in their mouths. It took a few tries and some positive reinforcement (lots of praise and maybe a treat afterward) to get them more comfortable. It's definitely something that requires patience when you're using it with pups, but it's well worth the effort. Now that they're more accustomed to it, I can see a genuine difference. It's worth it in the end!

I adopted a four year old mixed breed (15 different breeds) a little over a year ago. He had never had his coat brushed and definitely never had his teeth brushed

I adopted a four year old mixed breed (15 different breeds) a little over a year ago. He had never had his coat brushed and definitely never had his teeth brushed. It is slow going... but he is beginning to get the hang of getting his teeth brushed. I have had good luck with the brush that fits on your finger. He loves the taste - his breath smells great and his teeth are shiny. I definitely recommend this product.

I got the large, but even though my dog is very large I feel like the brush is too large for her mouth and it's awkward for me to use on her, so I think a smaller

The TropiClean Fresh Breath kit seemed like a good idea but my dogs did not care for it. The pit mix hated the taste of the gel and wouldn't let me anywhere near

The TropiClean Fresh Breath kit seemed like a good idea but my dogs did not care for it. The pit mix hated the taste of the gel and wouldn't let me anywhere near his mouth after the first brush. I did like the toothbrush and how it surrounds their teeth. If I started brushing our dog's teeth at a young age this review may have been different.
