Why in the world is there not a smaller choice of a bottle for pet owners?? Like they have at pet stores like PetSmart? Not all of us own a business where you’d use a whole gallon. Also, why is the Tropiclean regular ear cleaner no longer available- you used to carry it (4 oz bottles)?

This product is recommended for dogs 12 weeks and older.

What is the shelf life?

The shelf life of the ear cleaner is 2 years. Each bottle has a four-digit number on the bottle in stamped black lettering indicating the 2-digit year and 2-digit month it was made. For example, 2007 would indicate the product was made in 2020 and in the 7th month (July) and be good to July of 2022.

Does this come with an applicator or squirt bottle? How do you administer from a gallon jug?

The one-gallon pet professional size does not come with an applicator or squirt bottle. it is recommended to start with a smaller bottle of the formula to adminster.

Tried this for my pittie who has constant nasty smelly ears. I typically use just soap and water to clean them out but wanted to see how this works. It has a nice scent. Not too strong. Easy to squirt into dogs ear. I dont think this product necessarily cleans better than the soap and water. Id say its about the same as far as ease of cleaning them out. It does leave the ears smelling fresh just as the soap does. All in all, I think its probably equal to any other product used for cleaning the ears. I think the only real benefit for me is that its a little more convenient to just squirt in the ear and wipe clean rather than getting a soapy rag ready. I would definitely say this product is more for regularuse rather than trying to only use it when the ears are in bad shape.

Squeaky clean ears that do not stink!

TropiClean OxyMed Dog & Cat Ear Cleaner is awesome! I used it in both of my dogs ears after giving them baths because they don’t like to get their heads wet at all

TropiClean OxyMed Dog & Cat Ear Cleaner is awesome! I used it in both of my dogs ears after giving them baths because they don’t like to get their heads wet at all. So I find that I have to use a product like this just to make sure I get their ears clean. A few squirts of this cleaner in each ear, rub their ears to make sure it gets in there and wala - super clean ears that don’t smell. And there aren’t any parabens or dyes so I don’t have to worry about any irritation. Plus it’s made right here in the USA, and I love that!

My vet said it would be good to use an over-the-counter ear cleaner for my little poodle’s allergies. So far so good. It did not burn going in. My little dog didn’t mind it at all. He has stopped scratching his ears since I applied it. We will se how it does over time. Also doesn’t have a strong smell, which is great.

Very easy to use. I use cotton balls to wipe my dog's ears. Cleaning was an excellent job. The odor was not overpowering.Convenient size. Overall well worth it.

Great stuff

As a dog groomer this was the only brand we used in our shop it worked wonders on cocker spaniels, basset hounds and any heavy eared dog that doesn't breath well

As a dog groomer this was the only brand we used in our shop it worked wonders on cocker spaniels, basset hounds and any heavy eared dog that doesn't breath well in the ear cavity It doesn't smell amazing but who cares it does its job a million times better then other brands Only recommendation for any non groomer if your dog has hairy ear cannales pluck that hair before using so the ear wax can actually work its way out I am not a vet and this is not veterinary advice any medical problems should be brought up with a vet.
