These treats are indeed thick as labeled, but they seem to have the consistency of semi-hardened play-doh. My dog tried one at first and left pieces of it all over

These treats are indeed thick as labeled, but they seem to have the consistency of semi-hardened play-doh. My dog tried one at first and left pieces of it all over the floor, and after that refused to accept them at all. She's kind of a picky dog, but she usually likes her treats. I received these from Chewy for free after they stopped stocking the treats I had on autoship. I'll be trying to give them away to a rescue or another dog owner.

Made my dogs sick

I have 4 small dogs. They usually love bacon treats. I break the big strips up for them to share. These treats were very hard to break and made all 4 of my dogs

I also gave a bag to my daughter's 3 golden doodles and 2 throw up after eating them. I have bought 4 large bags that we had to just throw away.

Is it me or has the color of these treats gotten even redder than before! I’m NOT fond of all the dyes that, they use esp. bc, one out of 3 of my babies has severe allergies. AWESOME price point w/fast shipping, minimal amt of odor. I must admit that they do LOVE these bacon flavored treats but, it’s the red dye that concerns me! You get a decent amount for yr money, but I think I’ll try & find an alternative. Something that has a lil less dye in them.

I liked the weight of this treat for my rough collies but they were not as enthusiastic for it as I thought they might be. I'm. a big treater and won't be trying

I liked the weight of this treat for my rough collies but they were not as enthusiastic for it as I thought they might be. I'm. a big treater and won't be trying this again as enthusiasm was low although they did prefer it over some other harder to chew options. My husky mix liked it fairly well as it suited her bacon love and meatier texture preference.
