Newer toys have worse quality

I got my dog his first sandwich about 2 years ago and that one lasted about a year. HOWEVER! I've since had to replace it because it is definitely his favorite toy

I got my dog his first sandwich about 2 years ago and that one lasted about a year. HOWEVER! I've since had to replace it because it is definitely his favorite toy (it fits in his mouth well and he likes to tug with us and he likes the squeaker). Each time I replaced it, the quality kept getting worse. The second sandwich lasted probably 3 months, then a month. The one we just got out barely lasted a week.

It is tough but not a great cuddle toy.

My fox terrier plays fetch with it but a little too large for my chihuahua to get in his mouth easily.
