Sturdy But Not So Easy to Work With

I didn't care for the sharp edges that always seemed to get me when trying to open for filling and cleaning, which was constant since this feeder seems to attract

I didn't care for the sharp edges that always seemed to get me when trying to open for filling and cleaning, which was constant since this feeder seems to attract dirt as fast as the chicks could eat the food. Might work in a cage or solid floor environment, but not in our chicken run.

I got this as an attempt to keep my dog from eating the chicken food. They didn’t like eating from it so I think it’s more for chicks than full sized chickens

Ok for baby chicks

Works ok, my chickens would often knock the top off of the feeder and now that they’re getting older way too small of a feeder.

Very sharp edges on the tray. The cover slides off to open and the edges are mostly covered. Just need to be careful opening and closing. I got it to use in the

Very sharp edges on the tray. The cover slides off to open and the edges are mostly covered. Just need to be careful opening and closing. I got it to use in the brooder with baby's. However Chicks seem to have trouble emptying it so chick feed accumulates and can get yucky. So there is a waste issue with young chicks. Better for juveniles and adult hens. Very durable.
