Can this be used as a winter blanket? Is it medium weight?

This blanket is a medium weight stable blanket. It is for use inside the stable. It is not recommended for outside use. A turnout blanket would be recommended for outside use.

Can this be used as a blanket liner under a turnout sheet? For added warmth?

Disappointed in this Stable Blanket

This runs small. I measured my horse as 76", but ordered a 78" to be safe. Too small in the chest, too short in the drop. Also, fabric makes a crinkly bag sound

This runs small. I measured my horse as 76", but ordered a 78" to be safe. Too small in the chest, too short in the drop. Also, fabric makes a crinkly bag sound when the horse moves around. He turned to look at it, then looked at me with a plain "nope" face. I will return it.

Really is cozy!

This is a lovely stable blanket. It does its job of keeping my horse warm in a well ventilated barn. The slick surface stays cleaner than the old traditional cloth

This is a lovely stable blanket. It does its job of keeping my horse warm in a well ventilated barn. The slick surface stays cleaner than the old traditional cloth or weave. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the front buckles are rather fiddly and almost impossible to buckle and get through the keepers without taking my gloves off.

Good for the price

I think the blanket is good but I noticed right away that the velcro on the chest is messed up. One side goes across and the other vertical. This doesn't allow much

I think the blanket is good but I noticed right away that the velcro on the chest is messed up. One side goes across and the other vertical. This doesn't allow much area where the velcro meets. Other then that the blanket is pretty good quality for under 40.00

LOVE THIS 220g Stable!

This blanket is a fantastic value and quality for the price! It fits my 17h gelding wonderfully with the belt front closure and it came with the hind leg straps

It’s great for nights in the 20s when it’s cold outside but the barn stays cozy! It’s well made and the purple/black looks great on him!

Good Buy For The Price

I bought this stable blanket two months ago and it has done great even with daily use! It keeps my young horse toasty and works perfect as an extra layer under her

I bought this stable blanket two months ago and it has done great even with daily use! It keeps my young horse toasty and works perfect as an extra layer under her turnout sheet. My only complaint is that one of the leg strap snaps has already broken, but that's easy to replace.
