Purchased these boots through another vendor (I'll buy 'em here next time) and they lasted about 3-4 years with five-day a week use, so I guess the prior reviewer just had some bad luck re the zipper. There were very comfortable. I'm a 9-1/2 shoe size and these don't come in half-sizes, so I bought 10s and they fit perfectly. For the price, a very good boot for me. After 3-4 years, they did develope little cracks in the "leather" but were still useable, just didn't look that nice anymore, so I'm going to buy another pair.
I really wanted to like these as an affordable schooling boot. Unfortunately TuffRider zippers just don't hold up and this one came off the track before I ever had the chance to wear them.
