How do you remove the shock function? Can the dog reset functions on accident while wearing the collar?

The settings cannot be accidentally modified, as there is a safety feature that requires the collar to be unlocked before modifying settings. The collar’s factory setting has the shock function off, so when the product arrives there will be no shock. To turn the shock function on, you must change the settings for shock between 1 and 7 (1 being the most mild shock, and 7 the most intense). To turn the shock function off, you can set it to “0.” For more information on setting up your collar, you can view the instructional video below:

Does anyone know if there is a way to dim the light or turn it off on the collar when the dog barks or moves? I have a daughter with vision issues that cannot tollerate the lights.

The collar LED will be off most of the time, with the exception of when the dog is barking. These indicating lights will always be visible when the collar is performing an action such as the vibration, noise, or static bark correction; these cannot be turned off or dimmed.

This collar is intended to detect barking vibrations and can tell the difference between your dog’s bark and another dog’s bark or other noises, so it may not trigger when your pet is whinning.
