For the most accurate size, we recommend measuring your pet and matching it to the sizing chart below. To find the body length, measure your pet’s back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. To find the neck, measure around your dog's neck leaving room for two fingers. To find the chest girth, measure your dog's chest around the widest part.

Does this cover the groin? My dog has been chewing down there and is losing some fur.

The groin is covered in all dogs when the potty flap is snapped shut. For walks, the potty flap is unsnapped and rolled up tight – like a burrito – and snapped up with the separate snaps at the chest.

How is it hooked together ? Snaps or Velcro

Manufacturer only use durable snaps for safety of the pet as Velcro is not dependable after washing. There is adjustability on the chest and or the tummy for the best fit possible.

Purchased a size small which fits my 12 pound Chihuahua perfectly. He has a hot spot which he doesn’t let heal. This awesome pajama is very comfortable and very well made with the softest quality fabric. The adjustable snaps are so helpful. We’ve used it for 3 days and his skin is almost healed. Thank you for helping my dog to feel better and get healed. I love the company logo monogrammed stitching on the collar. It gives a touch of class!! I plan on ordering another one in blue.

So disappointed in this product. Not able to use on my dog. I had ordered 2, after talking to a sales tech at chewy. Even tho the proper size was discussed, it does not fit properly and the snaps will not stay together. I should have only ored 1 and seen how it would work . But since my dog had surgery and really need the covering I thought since I had discussed her needs , it would be ok.

This surgical suit was so perfect for my little Bandit after having surgery. He wouldn't wear a cone and this was an excellent and better option for him to recover in. I will never use a cone again. It is very well made, it's durable, high quality and so soft. I love that the snaps are adjustable. I'm very happy with it !! I purchased the medium and it was a really good fit.

At the other end no room for his thick thighs so it's like walking with the crotch at the knee. He cannot jump or walk well. At least this version the whole flap at the bottom comes off but it's all or nothing no way to make it shorter than leaving the flap to hang. And side adjustments are a joke. Good product, just not useful for my pet.

I have a labradoodle (well 2.. the one this item is for isn't the super fluffy one).. I measured her before she got her summer cut and since 1 of her measurements

I have a labradoodle (well 2.. the one this item is for isn't the super fluffy one).. I measured her before she got her summer cut and since 1 of her measurements was in between sizes I went to the bigger of the two. Poor Poppy looks like a busted can of biscuits in this.. it stretches out enough to get in but it restricts her movement too much to wear. Good quality from what I can see so far. I would probably go up 2 sizes for her, but she's long legged and skinny.

Don't buy these pajamas, unless you want to have to adjust it every time your dog needs to potty. They are terrible and the small is more like a medium.

Ill fitting and stretched easily

I bought this for my Siberian husky and he measured along his back 25 inches so I bought the correct one from the sizing chart, but the problem with it was the fabric

I bought this for my Siberian husky and he measured along his back 25 inches so I bought the correct one from the sizing chart, but the problem with it was the fabric stretched very easily and it pulled down around his neck almost falling off around his shoulders. This particular item was no good for the purpose of protecting from his surgery a recent neuter as the tail hole was too big, and he could keep licking his surgery. It just did not fit him well and ended up having to buy him something different.
