Sure beats the cone of shame
Ordered XXL for my GSD who needed to not lick her belly after minor surgery. I never could get her to wear the cone without panicking. It is a little snug in the neck but since I need it primarily for sleep time it will work.
This onesie is a miracle worker!
This onesie worked so well for our puppy after he was neutered. He didn’t mind wearing it and it kept him away from his stitches. And Chewy customer service was great about it too, as I ordered the wrong size and needed a new size to be shipped in time for the surgery. I recommend ordering a size larger than you think you need, because you can make it a little smaller with snap adjustments on the sides. Highly recommend !

Amazing product
I bought 2 of these to use in place of the 'cone' that was sent home from the vet after surgery. We use the onesie at night to prevent our pet from licking the stitched area, and to keep it from rubbing on anything. It works great! She can sleep normally and we don't have to worry about her chewing at her incision! (Plus, they look like super cute puppy pajamas!) I would highly recommend!
A Ridiculous Design
A cute dog garment which has been designed foolishly and is nearly unusable. Hard to explain, but suffice it to say that before our pup can poo, it is necessary to undue part of the garment. "Hold on dog while I unfasten your codpiece."
Great for post surgery
Used this for after my girls spaying and works great. Kept her from licking and scratching but only put it on her at night when she is crated.
perfect after surgery
After my baby was spayed she cried with the donut on her head. I found this outfit on chewy and what a lifesaver!! Kept our baby from getting to her stitches. Don’t make your pup wear the donut of shame.
Oops, my mistake
I ordered the wrong size onesy shirt. When I called to ask for a return label, I was asked to donate the shirt to a shelter. The right size shirt was on its way at no charge. It was a little hard to figure out, follow the instructions.
Love this item
My little dog just had a hip surgery and I needed something for her after wearing the cone for 14 days. It would have to be something she could not lick or chew through to the stitches and I couldn't imagine finding anything better. She doesn't seem to mind wearing the surgical suit and she looks pretty cute in pink.
