Do these pork jerky need to be kept frozen then thaw out before giving to my dog ? Also how do you store them in original package or can I use tight plastic container? It doesn't say anything on the package??

This Jerky is safe to store in a cool, dry place for up to a month with no refrigeration needed. If storing for a longer time period, you may refrigerate for up to 6 months or freeze for up to a year. If kept in the freezer it is best to thaw the Treats before serving.

Is this meat comes from free range happy pigs? Or is it from pork factory...?

Animals sourced for Tylee’s are managed through a robust supplier approval program. All meat suppliers have been evaluated and documented for strict food safety and quality parameters. However- we do not require or maintain any certifications with regards to pasture raised/feeding requirements/animal treatment specifics for the animals sourced for Tylee’s proteins.

Quality has gone down

My dog has been eating these treats for years and recently I noticed the pork treat pieces have lots of fatty pieces on them. They are thick and very hard too

My dog has been eating these treats for years and recently I noticed the pork treat pieces have lots of fatty pieces on them. They are thick and very hard too. They used to be lean and thin so even my 16 yo dog could eat it easily. Now the treats are very hard to eat. For the very expensive price I'm paying, I may need to find an alternative soon. I'm throwing away 1/2 the bag away because it's too fatty and cant break the treats to smaller pieces.... they are way too hard. Not worth the money.

I've been purchasing Tylee's Pork Jerky for years. In the last year, the quality has fluctuated. The jerky was thinner and crispier (which was fine), but the most recent bags received in June 2025 had really thick and fatty pieces of pork jerky. Some pieces were pure fat. This cause tummy issues for my sensi pittie. Given these quality changes, I will no longer purchase this product. Which is too bad, because I really appreciated the single ingredient / human grade treats.

My dogs have been enjoying these treats for the past 3 years, then I received one order, the product was extremely greasy(I wouldn’t even touch the treats, used paper towels), fatty, hard and crumbled when I broke it into smaller bites, I thought it was this one order, so I let my next auto ship to be sent. Unfortunately, it was the same fatty, greasy, hard and crumbly product. I am taking them off my auto ship.

Poor Quality

I have bought Tylee's pork jerky treats for several years. My last 2 bags had a lot of fat, were extremely greasy, made my dogs sick and consequently thrown away. Not sure why the product changed but can't take a chance and will not purchase going forward.

So Dissapointed

I've been buying this jerky for my dogs for a while now. I reordered in March and the 2 bags I received looked and smelled rancid - got new bags sent, same situation

I've been buying this jerky for my dogs for a while now. I reordered in March and the 2 bags I received looked and smelled rancid - got new bags sent, same situation. The jerky smells fatty and is so hard I can barely cut it with heavy duty scissors. Just ordered another bag thinking that maybe the kinks have been worked out. Nope. Still rock hard, a little less rancid fatty smelling, but nothing like what the product used to be. Super disappointed, especially at almost $20/bag. Won't be buying again.
