Spend a few more dollars and get the Tylan
By FAWX718 on Jul 29, 2020
I usually order Tylan from my veterinarian for my dog with colitis. However, I recently moved to Texas from Colorado and they recommended ordering Tylan from Chewy as it's the same price I was paying them and I get about 4 times as much. I decided to try the generic and it's terrible! The powder is so fine (think powdered sugar) that it puffs into the air with the slightest touch and trying to fill little gel capsules is hard to do because it all just sticks to the side of the capsule and your fingers (even using a little funnel). If you need this stuff, spend the extra few bucks and get the Tylan - you won't regret it.

Tylosin Powder
By Pjmust on Jul 11, 2020
Getting our dogs meds through Chewy, saved us money and travel to the vet. It is the exact medication that we needed for Charlie. Plus, every eight months we will get a refill sent to us, and we don't have to remember to fill this prescription.

My Dog's IBS
By Greyhuahua on May 8, 2020
I have used this product as prescribed by my veterinarian for my dog's IBS and it has helped tremendously. If your dog has repeated bouts of mucous in his/her stool after thorough screening for worms & parasites, this may be what your looking for. Talk to your vet about it. By the way, the package states it is for chickens, turkeys, and does not mention dogs. In any case it works for dogs.

It Helps somewhat
By Glenn on Jan 23, 2020
Our dog has colitis and our vet prescribed this for her. It has helped in curbing the explosive pooh, it is still loose. If a Vet prescribes it I'd say try it. Odd for a dog - if you read the label it mostly for chickens.

Consitency N/G, not @ all like Tylan
By Niamh on Dec 10, 2019
This cannot be measured/dosed properly compared to the name brand Tylan product, which my dog has been taking for years. I ordered this as Tylan was out of stock. Will never order again. Powder was so fine it was dust & accurate measurement was impossible as it "poofs" into the air in a fine dust, rather than all of it landing in measuring spoon. My vet agrees with my statement on measurements.
