This product does not need to be used with additional dirt or sand. Pour approximately 2 pounds into a tray and place in the coop to allow for dust bathing.

Keeps coop dry

This is the first time I have used this product. It works well to keep the hens dry, with pine shavings above it.

Regular purchase

I regularly purchase this product to keep my coop, boxes and chickens mite free. Have used it to directly dust a lice laden hen as well. Convenient packaging and great price.

My birds love it

It's very easy to use and lasts a long time. My quail and chickens like it way more then any other brand I've tried so far.
