This supplement contains the following ingredients: Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride, Rice Bran, Soybean oil, and Lignin Sulfonate.

I'm having a difficult time finding one my cat will eat. Are these okay for a cat?

Scent is odd

Thought this was a brilliant idea in a pellet, but it took some horses awhile to actually eat it. Has a yeast-y, mineral smell and some horses would pick around

Thought this was a brilliant idea in a pellet, but it took some horses awhile to actually eat it. Has a yeast-y, mineral smell and some horses would pick around it in their feed. Prefer powders. Had a very sick horse and needed Lysine in a hurry and Chewy always ships the fastest to me, so this is why I purchased this item from Chewy. Thank you Chewy for speedy shipping.

My horse eats it everyday. Powder gets wasted at the bottom of the bucket so this product is awesome. It contains ~2,400mg of Lysine per scoop (scoop comes in the bag). When traveling a lot, I feed 4 scoops daily to help his immune system. I feed 2 scoops daily for regular maintenance.
