It would depend on the life stage the chicken is in and the intention for it. According to the Guaranteed Analysis, the recommended daily amount is 1 scoop (67 g). Each scoop contains at least 100 mg of Niacinamide per pound.

Chickens love this supplement

I add this to layer feeds that are low on protein to make it a better feed for my laying hens. I mix this bag into about a half 50# sack of their layer mash.

We usually get rooster booster but chewy was out at the time- the scoop is nice and the birds don’t seem to mind it. Good brand I think

Yuck

Had a very strong chemical smell. Pellets were mostly broken down so it was a large amount of powder. My girls refused to eat it.

This stuff is really great! Since I started using it my chickens are all in amazing condition and I feel great about their feathers, body condition, and overall

This stuff is really great! Since I started using it my chickens are all in amazing condition and I feel great about their feathers, body condition, and overall health. I love that it has a good amount of thiamine which is difficult to get enough of in most feeds and supplements. It literally has all the good things chickens need! I just wish the price would come down a bit. But 1 bag does usually last me a month.
