The Donkeys love it. It must be good.

It smells nice and after some research, this seemed to be the best option for my two retired herd protector donkeys. They were adopted as the smaller of the two is nearly 26 and in rough shape. She needed a little extra nutrition to help her put on more weight and the two of them love this. I feed them daily and it has also helped tremendously with getting them to trust me. I started slow with soaking for them, making a mash. Now I soak but it doesn’t last long enough to mash with these girls!

Amazing product for hard keepers

I tried this first from a local store but they can’t keep it in stock regularly, I guess everyone is finding it and loving it as much as I do. So I have this on

I tried this first from a local store but they can’t keep it in stock regularly, I guess everyone is finding it and loving it as much as I do. So I have this on auto ship now. It’s for my 20yr old kill pin rescue. She is a big, work a holic Dutch harness mare. I had her on standlee alfalfa pellets prior but my problem this summer is that she chokes if I don’t soak them and the flies were horrible because she would drool her soup everywhere. This pellet size is PERFECT if you need to feed dry. She’s putting on more weight than she did with the standlee alfalfa and the flax oil in this has brought in lovely dapples in the summer sun that bleaches her out. She is shiny and gorgeous. Best product I could have found for her. Thanks Chewey for offering it as an authorship option so I don’t have to be worried if the local coop is out! I know I’ll always have it when I need it!

FedEx delivered to the incorrect address

FedEx delivered to the wrong address. Luckily it was only across the street. However that still meant I had to carry the heavy box across the street and up my driveway

Higher protein lower NSC

Both my horses have genetic muscle disorders and as a natural doctor and holistic practitioner, I have reversed this with diet, herbal supplements and nutritional

Both my horses have genetic muscle disorders and as a natural doctor and holistic practitioner, I have reversed this with diet, herbal supplements and nutritional supplement that I have created. They were on bluebonnet X Factor, but the NSC’s in that feed were still a 10 and I could tell after eating Blue belles energy and way of being and moving, seemed heavier and more resistant, keeping me into the fact that there was something still not an alignment for her with her food. I have been wanting to go to a forage feed for a very long time and hadn’t looked at trying to do it recently until one morning I was really feeling guided to look again and found this fee not only am I paying less per bag but it’s higher protein which they need and it’s almost half of the NSC’s of what bluebonnet X Factor has in it. When I began this feed, I realize really fast how much the NSC’s were affecting bluebell as she was not processing and moving her bowels as fluently as she needed, which is why I haven’t had a lot of poop to pick up. I know how this is she is actually mirroring what I have already been through in my own health. So I know what it’s like to not be able to process starches or sugars very quickly. She was backed up with poop from the bloop on it X factor and this feed began to push that through. She had a little digestive upset on the third day, which kicked me in once again that the bluebonnet X factor feed was not good for her had to fast her from the grain for one whole day then, when I resumed, I gave her only a handful of the bluebonnet with a handful of this new feed. She is now fully off of the blue bonnet and on this feed and doing amazing. Every day since switching her to this feed, she has been coming to me in gratitude for getting her a fee that she can digest easily. I believe her digestion is not only better, but it feels better to her which I know how that feels. She did have some bloatedness which some people would think it was worms, which I knew she did not have and now her belly is back down to normal. Our horses are meant to be on a forged feed only they are meant to be eating harder, hay, apple willow, and Mulberry sticks, which help with the dental aspect of this as well these things help their teeth stay naturally floated and balanced. I’m very excited to continue seeing improvement with my mare ready to get back to being able to exercise and ride her. My gelding was fine with whatever I fed him, but I definitely see a difference with him as well. His condition is mild compared to my mares. But he has gone through his own detox process this year as well. I have an amazing guy on top of it who does Tifton hay and is cautiously and consciously watching all the levels in his hay every year and always gives me the results of it as well so I know and know how to adjust things if I need to. But overall, this feed has been amazing so far. Definitely a solution to what was going on for my horses personally.

LOVE this feed

I add these alfalfa pellets to my horses' ration balancer and they all love it. I like the tiny pellets and that they soak and soften very quickly. It's so wonderful

Hit or miss

Works extremely well for the one (out of 4) horse of mine that will eat it. Soaks quickly and is a small enough pellet that I feel okay not soaking it for a horse

Works extremely well for the one (out of 4) horse of mine that will eat it. Soaks quickly and is a small enough pellet that I feel okay not soaking it for a horse with normal dentition. Bags tend to have a lot of crumbles and dust

Palatable, Great results

Fed for a short time while I was unable to feed my alfalfa bales. The horses LOVED it. I think they looked fabulous on it. I will probably add in the winter again

I will probably add in the winter again just for extra calories for everybody. Don’t have to soak them, but if you choose, they soak super quick! Love this product, and so do my three horses!

Love this product.

My horses love their beer pellets. I usually add water to them but my horses have also eaten them dry without any issues.
