Apparently very unappetizing, according to 3 of 3 Miner dogs!
Even my dog who will eat pills straight from my hand, took a few words of encouragement to get her to actually eat it. My other two have spit it out enough times

I couldn’t tell you about the calming effects or any other benefits as only one treat was consumed. Maybe I’ll give it to my friend who has a lab? They eat almost everything!

Doesn't seem very effective
This might work better for a different breed/personality, because my dog doesn't even seem close to phased by these. I think they'd be worth a try if you're looking

I think they'd be worth a try if you're looking for a calming chew that works for your pet - lord knows I've tried every calming chew known to man - but for my baby girl it just doesn't seem effective. Shadow is a lab/pit mix and is around 55 lbs. She has excessive amounts of energy & a pretty bold personality.
Very Helpful - Plan ahead
I recommend planning ahead, for my two 20lb babies, a 13yr old and a 5 yr old, it took about 1hr to start working and a full 2.5-3hrs for full affect, and works

These really help them deal with changing schedules, without making them sleepy. I give one with morning feed and they are good to go. I limit they're dose to once a day or when needed, again Plan Ahead.
Calming Chews
They seemed to help Peaches but it took awhile for them to take affect. She's 16 years old, losing her sight and becomes anxious in the evening hours.

Be careful
I'm a little torn. These helped my dog calm down, but he lost control over his back legs when he was on them and kept falling down. However, he does have arthritis
