Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

I had high hopes, but can't even use as it's so firm you need something to cut it from the tube, then it doesn't mix unless you melt it. Since I use for tiny pups, I always put supplements in a syringe, which there is no way to do with this product, I ended up warming water and putting gel in water then syringing into pups
My dog was not eating well so we ordered under the weather. She did great started to eat and is doing awesome all do to this product. I also bought an extra tube to keep on hand.
Our elderly bulldog dog is sick, on meds, and refusing to eat dog food. He's usually on a special low protein diet but I am pushing just about any and everything he will eat at this point. I got this as a nutritional supplement and he hates it. He also hates the Tomlyn malt flavor. Since he loves bread, I am hiding it inside hot dog bun pieces and he's tolerating it so far. I didn't realize this was malt flavor also but we're making it work. He's usually a foodie hound and will eat any and everything. I think the meds are making him nauseous so it's hard to tell if he would like the flavor normally. Right now he's extremely picky.
For any pet lacking appetite, but still needing to keep weight on or have Rxs taken with food, this product is a godsend! Our Husky, who was just diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, had stopped eating just about everything until we tried this. She was sustained on this for days until the medications kicked in to help her appetite. I also can't praise enough the large, measured syringe it comes in. This syringe is super easy to use, easy to dispense small amounts (whether in the mouth or on my hand for her to lick), and easy to keep track of how much has been eaten. Plus, the very sturdy syringe is reusable: it comes apart for easy cleaning and is refillable. I'm going to put baby food in it, for instance, so I can easily keep track of how much I'm feeding. Don't be intimidated by it's appearance - this is perfect for sick dogs! And thanks to Chewy for shipping this and our subsequent orders so quickly, that we could take care of our patient!!!
Recovering from surgery, my little dog stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. Chewy delivered this the next day and it was so easy to push in his mouth several times a day til he got his strength back. Don't let the sugar confuse you, it acts like an electrolyte for dogs. Joey loves it.
My dog is in his late years making him a picky eater and he is basically just burning calories living. So I wanted this in hopes to put some more weight and nutrients into his diet. Sadly he did not like the taste at all. I even tried coring hot dogs and loading it in then cutting them into pieces. I wish he had liked it more. But I say it is still def worth the try. Just because my pupperoni didn't like it doesn't mean yours will feel the same.
Full of sugar and It was so thick and sticky that my dog couldn’t swallow it.
Love the concept, love the calories and the vitamins. Love that it comes in a measurable syringe. I ended up using the syringe to feed the dog more than the gel itself. The gel smells strongly of molasses and isn't as enticing as some other I ended up using. My dog prefered PetAg's High Cal Gel.
My dog hated it the first few time. I had to put it on my hand and force feed it to her. After the 3rd time, she ate it on her own and now eats it right away when we give it to her. It is helping her energy immensely.
Loved it! Tobi is so picky, there would be days that he refused eating but with this product he eats with no problem.
