From what I’ve seen in this app this is one of the better betta enclosures I’ve seen that being said without modification then this tank isn’t beta friendly. Keep in mind all tanks are never truly betta friendly have to monitor the flow to see how you lil guy reacts. The divider is appropriate for a divider but tank is far to small for it. Betta need a minimum of 5gal and none less this tank is 5.3 at max capacity and I’m not sure how much is lost due to the filter portion but the divider should be removed due to the fact betta need 5 gallons at least more is better as long as it’s short vs tall. I’m not sure when a divided tank like this is even appropriate if ever. Maybe for raising baby betta for a short period but then why not just get a full 5 gallon at that point.

Not great circulation

Water does not filter well throughout aquarium. Becomes stagnant in the back chamber.

I've had this rank for over six months so feel I can give it a fair review. The look of the tank is fantastic but there are issues with the filtration. I really tried to fiddle with the items provided to create adequate flow in both sides, but it just didn't work and I had crus building up, and oil sitting on surface. Also the flow contol of the filter is on the bottom side which is a pain to reach if you are trying to adjust flow. Save yourself time and headache and just buy a spray hose connection so water is distributed to both (or all) sections. Once I did the flow valve the tank has been awesome. ****for anyone worried the spray hose will cause too much flow for long fin bettas, I add wood and rock structures and caves so the flow is lessened in their sections and they have placed to go and rest. My bettas actually seem to like riding the flow.

I absolutely love chewy. I purchased this and within two days I had it! That’s pretty amazing for where I live. After doing lots of searching on glass tanks, I purchased this one. According to some of the questions answered the divider comes out of the center. No it does not it is siliconed in. I am sure it could be cut out, but that chances damage to the tank. After tank set up the tank does look very nice. However the whole pump set up is an absolute nightmare. The lack of directions and material supplied does not allow for the pump to be towards the bottom. I have checked my local hardware store and pet store. I live in a small town and the closest fish store is an hour and 20 minutes away. So I went for the super pet store or the cheap home-improvement store. Neither of which had anything that I could use to set the pump up successfully. I was able to place an online order and in 3-5 days should arrive. If you are using this for a betta it would definitely be best for your fish to stream the pump output across both sides even at the lowest the flow is too much for just one side of the tank. I absolutely love the design, it has a smooth and streamline appearance, I just wish something a little better could’ve been done for that pump.
