Not fish safe

After being in my tank for about two months, a green coating started to peel off of this into the water. Almost like it had a paint coat. Very strange and not exactly

After being in my tank for about two months, a green coating started to peel off of this into the water. Almost like it had a paint coat. Very strange and not exactly safe. Besides that, the plant is super stiff and fake looking. Don't recommend.
