These containers are a good size, they fit in my pantry without taking up too much space and can hold a good amount. I emptied a 20 lb bag of bird seed into one,
These containers are a good size, they fit in my pantry without taking up too much space and can hold a good amount. I emptied a 20 lb bag of bird seed into one, and a 13 lb bag of dog food into the other. The 20 lbs fits good but 13 lbs leaves plenty of room for at least one more 13 lb bag. The lid is a bit difficult to snap on and remove, wish it was a more substantial lid that screwed on and off but otherwise these are great for keeping dry food stuffs airtight!

These food pails are good quality. I like that they are made in USA & BPA free. No weird plastic smell at all. I also like the label to mark what's inside. Sturdy

Would be good to store food in garage or barndef. The downside I experienced is that it is extremely difficult to get the lid fully on & off. I had to use all my body weight to get the lid fully down on all sides. I ended up having to lay it on it's side, straddle it & push with both hands going all the way around the bucket to get it open. Good thing I tried it empty! In conclusion, good quality product but not good if you are arthritic or just have no upper body strength (like me).

One of them gave me a problem getting a lid on it, there was no way it would go on, and I tried both lids as I received 2 of these 5 gallon containers. The second one I finally got the lid on, which wasn’t as easy as one would expect but once I got it on, I can’t get the lid off. I tried, and maybe someone stronger than me could do it but what a pain it was and I had to give it up. I just can’t recommend this product and it’s something I could use if I don’t need a lid.

I used one for my cat food/treats so she cant sneak into them and love that i can fit multiple cans, her dry food and her vitamins all in one bin; and i used the other to store my pet safe salt because the bags are so hard to not spill everywhere. These seal very tight and i love the labels on the front so you can put whats inside if you have multiple.
No Plastic Smell!

I love these containers! I have tried other airtight storage containers that have arrived with a heavy plastic smell. No smell with these so I feel safe using them for food! They hold my 10lb bag of bird food as well as my 10 lb bag of dog food! With there being a pair, they were perfect for my needs and seal well!

I use these containers in my chicken house to store fruit and mealworms, and they perform exceptionally well even in cold temperatures—it’s currently 10 degrees in my area, and the snacks for my hens remain fresh and well-preserved. I highly recommend these containers for both indoor and outdoor feed storage.

I’m giving 4 stars because it was very difficult put the CB lid on and to get it off. We plan to use it to store extra dry dog food, but would not want to store anything we had to open daily.
