V-Dog Kind Kibble Mini Bites Vegan Adult Dry Dog Food
Our elderly dog is thriving on V dog. Our senior poodle-mix has had a lot of challenges with arthritis and inflammation. His digestion has always been a little bit tricky to manage, as well. A friend told us about how well his dogs are doing now that they are all 100% vegan. We switched our dog over to 100% be again cable and wet food and his information and mobility has improved. He also seems much happier, overall.
If you have a dog is allergic to meat proteins, like mine, I’m glad this is available. However, I purchased as few varieties and my doggie did not choose this particular brand.
Good nutrition in small bites for our two small dogs. We wanted a healthy diet for our dogs that was vegan.
The only place I buy my pet supplies!!!
My puppy kiwi ate the halo kibble, until I got The V-dog kibble. When I mixed the v-dog kibble & halo together; She would take out the small v-dog pieces eat them, & spit out the larger halo kibble . She won’t touch the halo anymore. (Now that she has a better option) Also Halo has more of a sour processed/fast food smell, where V-dog had a fresh light smell. Also after checking out the nutrient for each — Halo- Crude protein: 20% Crude fat: 13% V-dog Crude protein: 24% Crude protein: 9% So V-dog definitely is the healthier option also after going over the ingredients v-dog won that too Definitely recommend V-dog
As veggies ourselves, we are pleased that there are all-plant-based dog food companies that we can trust. V-dog is one. Our puppy gobbles it down at food time. He's full of energy and did great at the vet! Thank you to Chewy for offering all-plant-based food for dogs.
After an exhaustive 15 month battle with food allergies we finally found the answer- A vegetarian diet! I am so thankful that we found "v-dog," the kindest of kibbles. Fitch absolutely loves it. Since switching him to a vegetarian diet he's had no skin issues and he's happy and healthy. "v-dog" is the best!
Many years ago I started feeding my dogs this because I had a beagle who literally could not eat anything else. She had terrible food allergies and just rotten skin until V-Dog. My other dogs as they got to really be seniors developed some slight anemia, so I started feeding this at breakfast and regular kibble for dinner. But if your dog has itchy skin and nothing has helped, you need to try this food.
Our 4.5 lb. dog started losing teeth last year (he's 11) and I was having to use a hammer on his regular vegan kibble so he could eat it. He can eat these with no problem and he Loves them. They must be really good. They're small and rounded so no problem eating them. And he drinks more water now too.
My dog doesn’t eat a strictly vegan diet but I have gotten her this kibble many times over the years. This was the first dry food she would actually eat as a puppy (She is very picky). V-dog has always really helped with her weight management, better than the science diet brand weight loss foods. I really recommend this food. PS, it is a myth that pea protein itself causes dogs to develop DCM, and this food is supplemented with taurine for heart health.
