My Cockatiels are 14+ years old. One started having excessive droppings that reeked. I was afraid I was loosing him. Within about two weeks of adding to his water he started returning to normal. I still use it for both birds daily maintenance.

I just started using Vetafarm Symbiotic for our nine year old African Gray parrot. I am very cautious in using any new product with our Jasper. Before using this product i reached out to our African Gray Facebook group to see if others had used this product themselves. I recieved a couple.of positive responses from others that had used this product and no negatives. One individual shared that Vetafarm products are good products. Our bird was happy and healthy before we started adding this product to his water, so, I can't say that i see any difference with our bird since we started. To me i have added a supplement to help keep him healthy and happy.

I mix the probiotic powder to the seeds and pellets mix in together. So far all my birds will eat their pellets and seeds cover in the probiotic powder. I give this probiotic to my cockatiels, love bird and a zebra finch! Easy to mix or sprinkle with their regular food!

Excellent boost for my parrot’s health

I have a 25 year old African grey parrot whom I owned since shortly after he was hatched. They are known for their longevity but they need to be healthy to live

I have a 25 year old African grey parrot whom I owned since shortly after he was hatched. They are known for their longevity but they need to be healthy to live their 60+ year life expectancy. This product has replaced all the former supplements I used to keep him in tip top shape. I add one scoop to a liter of his drinking water and he drinks it up with no problem. I do use filtered water and keep it in the frig to refill his water butler when it becomes empty. No more fussing with avian multivitamins, milk thistle and sour cherry juice. So far so good. The vet exam shows he has a good blood chemistry panel. Will continue to buy after this jar runs out, which will take awhile as it contains 100 grams.

So far this seems to be a good product. I happened to get just after the birds finished egg laying so I could not test it out for that. But it mixes in well with

So far this seems to be a good product. I happened to get just after the birds finished egg laying so I could not test it out for that. But it mixes in well with food. It does stick to the fingers when you pick out the scoop. I made a tiny hole in the scoop and tied a wire to it that hangs out of the jar, makes it much cleaner to pick up! The dosage amount is tiny, so this jar will last for a long time.

Dali, the Blue Front Amazon who owns my heart, has to be the food pickiest parrot on the planet! I worry every day about his health. I've tried a number of supplements for him but it's always been a 'no go'. In his water or on his favorite foods, which is few, Until now! I sprinkled this supplement powder over his favorite, spaghetti & he gobbled it down! Amazing. I gave it to him for over a week on pasta with sauce, chicken, kidney beans, mashed potatoes, banana, & the other limited items he'll eat. We have a WINNER! Dali will eat this supplement! Thank You!

I have been putting this in my 34 y/o African Grey's water. He seems to be okay with it, and I would say the only challenge is that it doesn't dissolve as well as I would hope. I have to mix it pretty good in order to get it to dissolve enough. As for how it works, I think it's doing the right thing. As a probiotic it's helping him digest his food. Every time he goes to the vet, he gets a clean bill of health. I think as an older bird this is the type of product he needs in order to help him maintain a long healthy life.
