This is unlike any dog supplement I’ve ever used before. What’s great is that you can give it to your dog without sprinkling it on food, hiding a pill in a treat, or forcing it into their mouth. My dog enjoyed the beef flavor and licked it clean. I was unsure how much to twist it the first time and probably dispensed too much product. I got the one that is meant to calm anxiety because my GSD gets anxious in social situations and during thunderstorms. She hasn’t been in either of those situations recently, so I can’t comment on how effective it is, but it contains ingredients like valerian and chamomile, which I know are certainly calming for humans. If I ever need to give her other types of supplements, I will certainly consider buying from this brand for the unique and helpful packaging.

It’s easy to twist and control the dosage, and I really like how securely it closes — the knob lid fits tightly back into the opening, which gives me confidence it won’t leak. The 2.3 oz size is also convenient for air travel since it meets carry-on liquid limits. Taste: Out of my three dogs, one licked it straight from the tube. One of the two who didn’t is notoriously picky, so I wasn’t surprised, but I expected the third to like it more. Still, it was easy to apply — I just wiped a bit on their upper lip, and since the product isn’t sticky, it didn’t cling to their fur. The malt flavor might not be for every dog’s palate. Effectiveness: I didn’t notice much of a calming effect on my dogs. To be fair, I’ve tried other calming treats and peanut butter products before with similar results, so it might just be that my pack is naturally high energy. Overall: I’d give this product 4 stars. The packaging is smart and travel-friendly, but the effectiveness and taste didn’t quite deliver for my dogs. Still, it’s worth a try if you’re looking for a convenient way to offer a calming supplement.

He did not soak my couch with drool from fear for a change. That is a win alone. But he actually was calmer during the storm too. The other boy is a difficult case, but we made a trip away from home and he was good in the truck. He was more willing to walk outside at our destination. Not perfect, but at least more willing. I’d say that is a win as well. It is an easy to administer aid. The dogs were willing to lick the dispenser so it must taste good. It was not sloppy and didn’t make a mess. We will use it again.

They just bark and run around inside the house the entire time. With one twist of the Vetality Twist & Lick Calming Health Supplement for Dogs, a small amount of paste comes out of the cute bone shaped dispenser. One dog tried it right away and looked for more. She did seem much more calm after and wasn’t barking as much for the rest of the night. The other dog took a while to try it and was still a crazed maniac. I think if we tried it earlier before he got himself all worked up, we may have had better results. I’ll def try again.

He becomes anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks but unfortunately, we’ve had neither since I received the product. At least the flavor was tasty enough that I should have no trouble getting him to have some when necessary. I’ll update this when it happens

We have tried relax, gummy’s. We have tried thunder shirts and nothing ever works, so I wasn’t expecting much from this. After giving this to our dogs, two of which are very nervous Nelly’s, we left to go on our errands for the day. Halfway through our trip, I checked the video cameras at our home typically, there is a lot of barking and howling going on, but on this day, there was silence! Even when we got back home, there was no hyperactivity. Everyone was very much alert and happy to go outside, but it wasn’t the craziness that we usually come home too. thunderstorms are usually a very anxious time in our house, but now they are not an issue at all. I will definitely be getting more of this during hurricane season.

Our dog gets very anxious when we leave the house, but I didn’t want to try this for the first time when no one was at home, and thank goodness we didn’t! He got terrible gas, then threw up twice. It may just have been our pup that this product didn’t agree with his system, but I won’t be giving this to him again.
A good product
I have two very active/hyper dogs and this product seemed to make them just a little more relaxed. One of my dogs does not like the taste, so it has to be smeared

The other dog loves it though. All in all I think this is a good option for those looking to calm their dog down in certain situations.
