The spray deodorizes and helps relieve fungal and bacterial skin infections such as dermatitis & pyoderma. It contains glycerin & aloe vera to moisturize and soothe itchy, irritated skin. The shampoo is formulated with benzethonium chloride to help eliminate bacteria that causes irritation and odor and ketoconazole to treat fungal infections.

if your dog licks this can it make them sick

Veterinary Formula Clinical Care products are not intended for ingestion however, we understand that pets can’t help but lick at themselves sometimes. This product should not cause any upset stomach if they lick at an area after it is applied. That said, pets should not be allowed to obsessively lick at the product. Just like if we accidentally get some soap in our mouths it shouldn’t make us sick, but if we were to swallow an entire bottle it isn’t going to feel good! Additionally, all pets are unique and have their own sensitivities based on breed, age, and pre-existing conditions. If your pet ingests any product and their behavior changes or you notice any signs of upset stomach, we recommend contacting your veterinarian to ensure the safety of your pet.

Can this be used for yeast infection on a dog

This formula can be used to combat yeast infections. Depending on the area of the yeast infection, it is not recommended to spray the product directly on sensitive areas (such as the face, eye area, or genitals), but to spray the formula on a soft washcloth or cotton round and apply liberally.

Does the spray sting when applied?

The cleansing ingredients should not have a stinging affect. This includes aloe vera in the formula for an extra soothing and healing effect on the skin.

Our dog has severe environmental allergies, especially during the summer, and we’ve tried just about every shampoo in the book to help him. His skin gets crusty, red & inflamed, he licks his paws raw & he loses hair in clumps!! We usually put a cone on him so he doesn’t lick. After 2 uses of this shampoo, we noticed a HUGE difference. His skin isn’t crusty anymore and the redness & inflammation has gone down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It works & is so budget friendly. I will be buying this by the gallon from now on with chewy!

I used it on my dog when he was using chunks of fur and skin flaking heavily from a combination of Cushings Disease and Hypothyroidism. It helped to a degree but

I used it on my dog when he was using chunks of fur and skin flaking heavily from a combination of Cushings Disease and Hypothyroidism. It helped to a degree but later discovered after more blood work at the Vet that some of his meds needed decreasing. My dog also would get ringworm from rolling around in the grass a lot. These products can be a supplement, though not necessarily a CURE for some of these issues.

Someone suggested this to me for my Aussies skin irritation on his chest. He was losing his hair and it was red and irritated. Used the shampoo right away and the spray daily and he has finally cleared up after about a week. Best product for his little rash which I was told was likely due to allergens from outside.
