I adopted 2 eight week old kittens from the humane society. They both had soft stools within days of being in our home. I thought it was anxiety and their bellies would get better. Their soft stools turned to diarrhea. Kitties did not have any symptoms of being sick. They had healthy appetites, drank plenty of fluids, played and napped as normal. Going with our vet's advice, I gave them recommended amounts of Imodium for their diarrhea. It worked for several days and then did not work. I researched probiotics for kittens, new foods, etc. I came across this probiotic, read the reviews, bought the smallest container. I also bought an expensive kitten food since I thought the kitten food that came with adoption might be the culprit. After mixing the probiotic powder with the new kitten food, WOW!!!! Within 24 hours, their little bellies we're so much better. Regular stools and much happier kitties. The probiotics was worth every cent I spent. I'll probably wean them off in six months or less and see how they do without.
I used to feed my dog kibble mixed with ground beef or some other type of meat(became very picky) and it was hard for him to eat without the meat(pause). But he loves this stuff and I can see a clear healthy difference in his #2s.
This upset both my collie and staffy’s stomachs. I have been cleaning up diarrhea in the house and they are both potty trained.
This really seems to be helping our kitties w/ their “issues” (bad poop and puking). They LOVE it, and as a bonus, the litter box smells are less smelly.
Product came as described. This was intented for my picky eater to help his digestion, however of course he doesn't care for it. My older cat will even steal his food that has it on it however, he adores the flavor. Been using consistently for a week now, seems to do as described, no major differences so I can't say for certain.
Only gave a 4 star because we haven't been using it long enough for it to "kick in"....only a few days, so i dont know if it is helping his issues. But, my picky eater LOVES it. All I have to do is open the jar and he is there. He will even eat the dry powder. I have found that mixing it with a little water is much neater. I will post a new review when I can tell whether the product is helping him or not. I hope so because it's like a treat for him.
I bought this for the dogs but the cats are always trying to get into it. So apparently it tastes good. I like that it's in a container vs the little packs that seem to be so much waste. One of my dogs was having some soft stool occasionally and this seems to have helped clear it up. I'm on my 2nd jar and would recommend it!
After only a few days this had our 2yr old dog throwing up almost daily. Ceased use and the vomiting has stopped completely. Different strokes for different pets I guess, we're moving on
I use this on 2 cats and a dog, they will all eat it. I mix into canned food. I'm not sure if it's helping with anything but I will likely buy again.
I tried this after finishing a bottle of capsules supplied by my veterinarian. Since I had to split the capsules, I decided to purchase a powdered form. This probiotic must have a taste to it that is not acceptable to my fussy cat. Not sure if it works or not...
