I am new to the whole brushing your pet's teeth thing. My previous cats had their teeth brushed essentially only whenever they had their vet check ups, because our vet is into dental care. However, this obviously did not prevent the teeth from decaying and having to be removed. With my current cats, they are young and I am taking a renewed interest in cat dental care, and, having never brushed their teeth before, I Did Not expect my cats to come back for a second round of brushing?? Like, yes, during the brushing, their were inconsolable and making pitiful noises. But as soon as the tiny brush came out of their mouths, they were trying to bite it and lick the bristles! One of them literally followed me around for 10 minutes after I finished brushing his teeth. I bought another flavor of toothpaste--malt flavor--by another brand, and the cats don't like the flavor NEARLY as much as this poultry flavor. Basically, if you're interested in getting your cats used to having their teeth brushed, this is the ideal product to use. The little brush is the ideal size for cat mouths, and the poultry flavored toothpaste apparently tastes great to cats, which makes them not resent you after brushing their teeth. I, personally, am starting my cats out with brushing once a week, and we will work up from there. They're legitimately loving it so far.
I was uncertain about brushing my cat’s teeth. Couldn’t imagine he would cooperate. But Ralph loves the toothpaste and gets excited when he sees me with the toothpaste and brush.
I was originally given this toothpaste by my vet and once it ran out I wanted to get the same one. You put a little on the finger brush and get the paste on as many teeth as possible. My cat’s breed is prone to dental issues so I make sure to use this as often as I can. The paste is edible and I think he likes the taste. Great little product for a good price.
I was afraid to use the finger brush since it had no safety loop but the pup loved the toothpaste!
Yes, I did order this but clearly I made a mistake. Would Never have paid $6.54 for 21 gr when I could have gotten 90gr for $8.55. I have a large dog and this won't last long at all for the price.
Our dog Hunter loves the Vetoqinol tooth paste. It is easyer to brush his teeth, because he likes the flavor. Just wish it came in a larger tube, with a better tooth brush!
Shipped in a box over 5 times in size more than needed. Much smaller than expected than the advertised picture. I will leave a review on how it functions for my cat, but I don't want another autoship, due to wasteful practices, and it will only last a short amount of time. I would rather purchase from a local store.
Wow. Never thought to check the exact Oz. It is TINY!!! for nearly 6$.. it's overpriced for the amount. The arm&hammer one i bought a year ago cost 1.15$ for 3times as much and 2 brushes! Ultimately as long as my dog likes it then I'm going to use it and it is a good travel size. I was just super shocked at the size. The brush is really soft though, some brands are much harder.
I liked the ease of this product, Sophie and I really liked it.
The color of this toothpaste is a little off-putting, it looks more like golden curry sauce than a dental product, but holy cow, it must taste amazing because my picky eater Yorkiepoo now comes rushing at me when I unscrew the lid.
