Easy product to feed to my horses.

I just sprinkle this powder over my horses feed and they had no problem eating it. I plan on giving continually during the winter, especially during cold snaps

I just sprinkle this powder over my horses feed and they had no problem eating it. I plan on giving continually during the winter, especially during cold snaps. The bucket is easy to open and reseal, it would be nice if I didn’t have to dig to the bottom to find the scoop but that would be my only complaint! The smell is nice.

Not worth it

I contacted the manufacturer and asked if this supplement was meant to be a stand alone product or fed in an addition to a complete vitamin supplement. They said

I contacted the manufacturer and asked if this supplement was meant to be a stand alone product or fed in an addition to a complete vitamin supplement. They said i was meant to be used as a stand alone but couldn’t provide me with a detailed guarantee analysis (GA) required by the FDA. Without knowing the content of the essential vitamins and minerals I don’t feel that it is safe to feed in that way. I decided to incorporated it in to my horses current feeding routine at 1/2 the serving recommendation to reduce the chance that he could be over fed on vitamins or minerals -again this could easily be avoided by including a GA. bottom line: 1. I don’t have enough information to feed this at a recommend level to see results 2. Even if i did the description of the results is very vague 3. My horse won’t eat it anyway so this was all for nothing.

Dry blend and not palatable for my horses

Added this to my horses daily supplements and my horses flat out refused to eat even their feed that was part of this mix. I had to eventually remove it completely

Added this to my horses daily supplements and my horses flat out refused to eat even their feed that was part of this mix. I had to eventually remove it completely from their daily pellets. I tried adding a bit of water to blend it more as it is a powder/grit type product, but could not even force feed either horse to eat it. I am sure it has good benefits, maybe try to add a flavor enhancer or change the form it is in.

This product seems to have the right idea but you have to get it into the horse first. I tried feeding it to 3 different horses. I started with just a half scoop

This product seems to have the right idea but you have to get it into the horse first. I tried feeding it to 3 different horses. I started with just a half scoop each. They just wouldn't eat it. I also tried to dampen the grains slightly so it woud stick but it clumped on the bottom of the bowl. Either way is was left with food and stuck to the bottom of the feed bowls. I don't smell it in the tub so I am not sure why my horses are turning away from eating it but they won't touch it. Maybe flavor it?

This was a good choice for my older mare who seems to have an immune issue where she loses her hair in places. Despite blood work being run and it coming back normal. I decided to try this for not only her immune but also her Gastric system. Although she has not been on it a long time.It seems so far to be slowly but surely, helping not only her hair growth in the areas she lost small amounts of Hair but her overall appearance seems a bit more brighter.

It’s too soon for me to comment on How I think it’s working since he’s only been on it for about two weeks now. He is eating it well And I have hope that it will do him good, Keep him healthy, and shiny especially through our New England winter.

I was excited to try this supplement – the ingredients seem research-backed and it seems to have a lot of potential benefits. I have an OTTB who is ulcer-prone and has some allergy-related respiratory issues that this supplement seems like it would have helped with. Unfortunately, when I added this to his grain, he did not want to eat it. He is a very picky guy, so I can't hold this against the supplement too much. Sadly I also can't speak to the results I saw because of this. Still, I would recommend giving this supplement a shot if you have a horse that isn't a picky princess like mine!

It is a little bit premature for me to say whether I think it works or not he has only been on it for a little over a week. We have tried quite a few products of this nature and this is definitely one that I attend or continuing. He does seem more comfortable and it's gut and I'm hoping it's due to this! Thank you!!
