How often should I use the journal and how many cat treats how often

Place a small amount of Laxatone on the animal’s nose or paws to stimulate taste interest. Administer 1/2 - 1 teaspoon daily for 2 - 3 days, then 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon 2 - 3 times a week. To help reduce hairballs in adult cats, feed 16 Temptations treats per 10 pounds of body weight daily with a high quality Hairball Dry Cat Food Product. If fed as a main meal, feed 2/3 - 3/4 cup per 10 pounds of body weight daily. Provide fresh drinking water at all times.

Many years ago, I used to be able to get some hairball lubricant that came in a small metallic tube. Every cat I knew loved that stuff so much. I was excited to introduce our cats to this lube, thinking it would have the same effect. No luck. They won't touch it. They won't eat their food if I put it in with their food. They love these treats, but I feel sad that the hairball lubricant will be wasted. I'll have to take it to a cat shelter where there will be cats who are not completely spoiled. Our cats may be the problem. They get what they want and only what they want.
