Love this bowl, it looks great in my apartment and I get compliments on it whenever someone new comes over. I love that its slightly elevated and angled so it's comfortable for my cats to eat from it. They've been using it since they were 4mo old and tiny and now they're almost a year old so it's a good size for any cat. I haven't had any issues with the spoon but I also only take it out when I wash the bowl. It seems like the plastic would wear down if you removed it more often. The only issue I have is the splat mat that goes under the bowl will conform to the shape of the box it comes in and I haven't been able to get it to fully flatten out. I've tried heating it and re-shaping it several ways (boiling, hair dryer, heat gun) but no luck. I ended up just putting it upside down under the bowl and it's a little flatter after 7ish months, I think? Honestly, it looks fine either way because I have it on the floor so it's not like anyone is looking that close. I'm not even gonna shave a star off because I love the overall look so much, regardless of the mat issue.
