PA is apparently one of the worst states for ticks this year, and with how much my pup and I love the woods this was a must-buy. Works like a charm for fleas, ticks, and mosquitos - on both of us and her backpack - as long as you spray each time you're going out. Pup loves to splash around in the stream at the bottom of our usual hiking trail and even after that, we make it home without any unwelcome guests or bug bites. My pup has sensitive skin (pink-skinned dog problems), and even using this almost every day she so far hasn't had any negative reactions to this spray. Bonus, as it says in the title - this spray also stops spotted lantern flies in their tracks which is AMAZING!! I'm in a quarantine zone and we're infested. I avoid using any kind of insecticide in the yard as the pup loves to roll around out there, but with Vet's Best I can happily commit SLF mass-murder in an all-natural fashion. Can't recommend this enough!

Fresh peppermint smell. At first my Lab had trouble with the smell. It was new, and she has a working dog nose. So, after tricking her a few times, she now accepts the spray, and I can say that mosquitos, midges and flies are repelled. If the do land, they leave. I haven't tried the lawn spray yet, due to the rainy weather, but when it gets hotter, I will give it a try...after mowing. I expect my dog's nose will notice, as well as the bugs. Give it a try inside on bedding too. Makes the room smell fresh.
