What does the Probiotic Nutrient Enhancer do specifically?
Probiotics are a population of good bacteria that belong in your pet's gut, working together with the cells of your pet's gut in order to keep those cells happy and healthy. When there's a deficiency or an imbalance, the gut becomes permeable (holes form in it), and/or it becomes inflamed and allows abnormal proteins to get through to the blood stream. This may cause your dog to develop allergies to foods and sensitivities to environmental substances. That is why probiotics are so important. They balance the natural chemistry in your dog’s gut and digestive system. Probiotics are also anti-inflammatory. They prevent inflammatory bowel disease and make sure that other types of bacteria don’t create problems like overgrowths of salmonella or yeast organisms.
