You can choose to give during mealtime, by sprinkling it directly overtop OR mixing thoroughly in to their meal. You can also mix it in to their favorite snack or treat (like peanut butter, pumpkin, gravy, etc.). If you are introducing your pet to supplements for the first time, use half the recommended amount and try working up to the recommended amount by adding a little bit each day over the course of 7-10 days.
