Quality and reviews and nothing detrimental

Just glad to have a quality dog food that my dogs like well enough to eat and will not cause her harm. So far, so good with Victor.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. FOOD.

I switched my dogs to this food as my mom uses it for her dogs (she uses a different “subcategory” but still Victor) and it made my dogs sick. It gave them unexplainable

I switched my dogs to this food as my mom uses it for her dogs (she uses a different “subcategory” but still Victor) and it made my dogs sick. It gave them unexplainable bloody diarrhea within days of being on it. I say it’s the food because they tested negative for everything at the vet and got better once I stopped giving them this. Also noting, my mom who gives this to her dogs too. Again, not the exact same but Victor, just told me today that she opened her bag and it smelled like CHEMICALS. Her dog started throwing up and wheezing after giving them this. She even took it to a feed store and they were concerned about this. The workers there reported this concern to a “representative” for the brand which claimed the “hotness” bags can experience during shipping can cause a smell. Well, not in any other dog food I’ve bought so no thanks. A quick search in forms will discuss this same issue as of recent too.

Started out 7-1/2 year-old great Dane on this food when he was about 2 years old as he had allergies supposedly to wheat rice and potato. Have had no issues with this food, and in fact have put our second Dane on this food also and she has been on it for four years with no issue. Both dogs are very healthy in good bowel movements.
