This is a small, flat toy that is perfect for AKC Fetch tests. My dog is pursuing her Advanced FETCH title and these toys are easy for her to carry. The smaller size is great for puppies or small breed dogs that like to bite hard and play dirty! I have a beagle who loves to tug and is a hard chewer. I would never leave him with a toy like this unattended, because eventually anything can be damaged if gnawed on long enough. But this is perfect for interactive play with an owner, and for use as a training reward. The French linen is tough, but not as hard on the soft tissues of the mouth as a jute tug. No signs of ripping yet. Highly recommend
