Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Fleas after application

My dog doesn't have a severe flea issue. I tried this brand after another brand only seemed to work for 3 weeks. However within less than week of application use my dog was having issues with fleas, bites etc. Very unusual it's almost as if it invited the fleas. I am going back to treating my carpet instead of my pets with flea chemicals. That is the only real effective flea treatment I have ever used in past 30 yrs that actually does prevent flea issues.

Waste of money

Thankful for Chewy’s 100% guarantee because I asked for a refund on this item. We didn’t have fleas before so I decided to order just as maintenance and I’ve never seen so many fleas on my poor dogs. My dogs are mostly indoor only and I can only imagine if they spent more time outside how terrible it would be.

still hoping.

this is the second different kind of flea medicine im trying for my pooshon. First one didn't work at all but this one seems a little bit better. might be because its a family of multiple animals here and doing the yard as well. the last purchase chewy was really fast in refunding my money. No complaints about customer service at all. thanks chewy

Still has fleas

I tried the Effipro plus and still found fleas on my pup so I ended up going to the vet for a different treatment. I am disappointed but understand that not all products work for all pets.

They use this at the shelters

It’s amazing I had first tried it from the animal shelter and it was amazing it’s the same product they use at the shelters. I always wondered how the dogs at the shelters never have fleas and now I know why. Really good dried fast and doesn’t leave them stinky. Others I have tried make my dogs smell horrible and don’t dry. I sleep with my dogs so the fact that it doesn’t smell and drys quick is amazing and it actually works for the whole month.

too strong

My poor little dogs were miserable after I applied this. They were running around trying to rub it off. Their skin was red, irritated, and apparently burning them so I had to wash it off.
