This is a high quality frozen raw cat food. It arrived packed well with dry ice and still completely frozen. I was excited to try it with my cats since I already feed my dog some raw. My cats did like the food but I was concerned for my older cat because there were quite a few rather sizable bone fragments in the food. You have to thaw a few patties and then break them up to feed. As I was breaking it up I had to remove the bones because I was afraid that my cat might break a tooth or worse. When the food is fully thawed it gets quite mushy. Aside from my concern over the bones it would probably work quite well for most cats but I just can’t take the chance with my old girl.

This is a convenient way to add raw foods to your cat’s diet. The patties are easy to serve whole or in portions. Simply thaw the amount you want for each meal in the fridge that day. I like the high protein and real food ingredients. The cats seemed to enjoy the taste. I appreciate the guidance on how much to feed based on the cat’s weight. It’s also important to follow their directions and slowly transition by mixing the patties with their other food.

When i read about it, its said for cats or dogs.. but this package just says cats.

I have 2 very picky eaters. Zen is 4 years old and Petey is 9 months old. They both enjoy the same dry food, but have very different tastes when it comes to their wet food. I briefly tried Smalls when Zen was around 2 years old and he really seemed to like it. The only drawback was the subscription factor and it was expensive. Petey is the newest edition to our family and really enjoys his food. I had not tried anything except his usual Fancy Feast brand, which he sometimes likes and sometimes ignores. I like the fact that I can thaw one or two patties, depending on the mood either cat may be in that day. I gave each cat one serving, which surprisingly was plenty, and they both ate it right up !

I received this product for free for my honest review. I feed 1 square to my cat. She looked at me like this is it? She didn't know what to do. I had to laugh she used her paw to taste test it. I happened to look in her dish it was gone. The next day i gave her 2. She ate it right up. She really loves this so if it makes her happy im gonna have to order it for her. Thank you so much chewy for letting me try a product that i didn't know about.

I take some patties out the night before and leave them in the fridge to tahw. By morning they are ready for my cats to eat for breakfast. Keep them frozen until you are ready to thaw them.

Arrives in " freezer pack" better be home!
