CRUNCHY FREEZE DRIED SALMON TREATS

THESE MAY BE A BIT TOO HARD FOR OLDER CATS. AT TIMES I HAVE TO BREAK THE PIECES IN HALF, FOR OUR 2 CATS ARE OLDER, 12 & 14, AND DON'T SEEM TO WANT THE LARGER PIECES

THESE MAY BE A BIT TOO HARD FOR OLDER CATS. AT TIMES I HAVE TO BREAK THE PIECES IN HALF, FOR OUR 2 CATS ARE OLDER, 12 & 14, AND DON'T SEEM TO WANT THE LARGER PIECES. ALTHOUGH YOUNGER JOSEF JUST WENT OVER AND ATE THE BIG PIECE I GAVE TO OLDER JAROSLAV WHO SNIFFED IT AND LAID DOWN NEXT TO IT. THEY'LL ONLY EAT A PIECE OR 2. I SAW THE WAY THEY TRIED TO SITUATE THE LARGER PIECE IN THEIR MOUTHS INDICATING THERE WAS SOME ISSUE. THAT'S WHY I SNAPP THEM IN HALF. I DID NOT TRY LEAVING A COUPLE PIECES SET IN A LITTLE WATER. BEFORE I BEGAN WRITING THIS I TOSSED A LONGER PIECE TO THE OLDER CAT JAROSLAV. HE SNIFFED IT AND LAYED DOWN NEXT TO THE TREAT. JOSEF JUST CAME THRU THE ROOM. SAW THE TREAT PIECE, SNATCHED IT UP AND ATE IT. JUST LIKE HUMANS I GUESS. DON'T HAVE A TASTE FOR IT, WE DON'T EAT IT! MARLENE ><> MARLENE ><>

Had liked Vital Essentials duck liver treats which were just 1 ingredient: duck liver. Unfortunately, the salmon treats were not just salmon like a few other brands

Had liked Vital Essentials duck liver treats which were just 1 ingredient: duck liver. Unfortunately, the salmon treats were not just salmon like a few other brands I had previously purchased. They contained preservatives and smelled VERY fishy. Also the pieces were more dog size than cat size bites. It's my fault since I didn't read the label just assumed they'd be the same quality as the duck liver which I will buy again.

Salmon treats were like hard pellets

Tried this for two days and then tossed them. While my cats liked this and wanted to eat them, one of them choked on one the second day. They are hard and shaped

Tried this for two days and then tossed them. While my cats liked this and wanted to eat them, one of them choked on one the second day. They are hard and shaped like pellets and I don’t think he could chew it. He struggled to breathe with his head moving low, side-to-side and made the most horrible sounds. I lifted him and he finally coughed it out. If you purchase these, consider softening them with water. They were too hard to break with my hands.

I rescued two street kittens last year. One of them was very hard to get close to, she likes us but would not let me hold her or pet her much. They live at my son's house and I visit them. I finally found the way to her heart through special treats that only I give them. She knows when I come through the door, she'll be getting those favorite treats! My senior cat also goes crazy for these. Definitely recommend them. These were the key to Baby Girl's tiny heart.

They hated it

These treats were shunned by all four of my cats. Oh well, at least the stray cats I feed will eat them, and be glad about it. Sadly, my cats are spoiled.
